Important Note When Engraving Acrylic with a CO2 Laser:
Acrylic materials come in two types, and the engraving results differ significantly:
▲ Cast Acrylic:
Made by pouring liquid acrylic into molds.
Higher cost, better quality, and harder material.
Engraves with a white, frosted effect — ideal for signage and artistic products.
▲ Extruded Acrylic:
Produced through mechanical extrusion, more cost-effective and softer.
Engraving results are clearer/transparent, not white.
Better uniformity, but not recommended if you want a white engraving effect.
👉 To achieve a white engraving effect, we recommend using Cast Acrylic Sheets.
The material's properties cause it to frost or whiten under CO2 laser engraving, producing sharp and high-contrast results — perfect for signage, decorative plates, creative products, and artwork.
